§ 8. Enforcement.

It shall be the duty of the building inspector to administer and enforce the regulations contained herein. All preliminary and final plats shall be received by the building inspector and forwarded to the commission and city council in that order. The building inspector or other designated city official shall maintain all official copies of all plats. The director of public works or other designated city official shall be responsible for the inspection and approval of all water and sewer lines, streets, sidewalks and drainage facilities. These supervisors shall report to the commission, in writing, when all work has been satisfactorily completed and approved in their respective areas.
