§ 14.5. Membership.

The ad hoc architectural review committee will consist of five members. These members will be appointed by the mayor and shall consist of individuals living within the City of Boonville with the following areas of expertise, knowledge and/or interest:

(1)

Representative living in the overlay district.

(2)

Historic preservationist (may be current member of the historic preservation advisory committee).

(3)

Architectural historian (may be current member of the historic preservation advisory committee).

(4)

Land use and zoning advisor (may be current member of the planning and zoning commission).

(5)

Residential building contractor/builder.

(6)

Real estate agent/broker.

City staff from the building inspection department will provide recommendations to the committee and the city administrator will serve as building commissioner for any appeal purposes.
