§ 6.3. The foregoing requirements are subject to the following general rules and exceptions.
(a)
In the C and M Districts parking space may be provided on a separate lot if within 300 feet of a building and two or more owners may join together in the provision of this parking space.
(b)
In the R Districts and in C and M Districts within 50 feet of an R District, no parking space may be located in a front yard.
(c)
Parking spaces may be provided in side and rear yards in the R Districts and in any yard in C and M Districts except that in the C and M Districts no parking space may be provided in a front yard unless the building is set back at least 30 feet from the street.
(d)
Parking space for any use specifically permitted in an R District may be provided on a lot adjoining that use provided there is compliance with all requirements of paragraphs (b) and (c) above.
Section 6.5. Existing buildings not complying with off-street parking requirements may be remodeled, repaired and structurally altered but any enlargement must provide the required parking spaces for said enlargement.
