§ 10-18. Rummage and garage sales exempt from licenses.

Rummage and garage sales shall be generally exempt from the licensing provisions of this chapter; provided, however, that any person holding a rummage or garage sale which lasts beyond four periods per year, each period not to exceed seven days, shall be declared to be a merchant and shall buy an appropriate license and locate his business in a properly zoned area.
