Article VIII. UNATTENDED MOTOR VEHICLES, TRAILERS, ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES, OUTBOARD MOTORS OR VESSELS ON STREETS, HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC PROPERTY

§ 12-100. Definitions.

As used in this article, the following terms shall mean:

Abandoned property. Any unattended motor vehicle, trailer, all terrain vehicle, outboard motor or vessel removed or subject to removal from public property as provided in this article, whether or not operational.

Person. Any natural person, corporation or other legal entity.

Street or highway. The entire width between the boundary lines of every way publicly maintained; or the entire area ordinarily used for vehicular traffic or parking in municipal parking lots; when any part thereof is open to the uses of the public for purposes of vehicular travel.

Towing company. Any person or entity which tows, removes or stores abandoned property.
