§ 13-10. Building inspector.

(a)

There is hereby established the position of building inspector. The building inspector shall be designated as a department head and report to the city administrator.

(b)

The building inspector or representative designated by the city administrator shall perform the functions authorized in the City Code of General Ordinances, those functions designated for the code official in the International Code Council and National Electric Code and the duties described in the building inspector job description.
