§ 2-1. City seal.

  • (a)

    There shall be a common seal for the city, of which there shall be an inner circle outlined with a rope design within which the words "official seal" shall be inscribed. This inner circle will be encircled with the engraved words "City of Boonville - Boonville, Missouri". The seal shall be circular and not more than one and five eighths inches in diameter.

    (b)

    The city clerk shall keep the common seal of the city in his office and shall affix the same to all instruments of writing of whatsoever nature, whenever required by ordinance, resolution or order of the city council, or on the requisition of the mayor.

    (c)

    The city clerk is hereby authorized to affix the common seal of the city to copies of all records and documents, whenever required by any person.
