§ 2-29. Papers and documents.

  • No member of the city council or other person shall take any paper or document from the city clerk's office without leave, and all papers and documents withdrawn therefrom with leave, shall be returned by the person withdrawing the same uninjured and undefaced. All papers or documents delivered to a committee or officer by the clerk for the purpose of reporting thereon, shall be returned by the committee or officer at the time of making the report.
