§ 4-46. Animal abuse prohibited.

Latest version.

It shall be unlawful for a person to abuse an animal by:
(1)

Intentionally or purposely killing an animal in any manner not allowed by or expressly exempted from the provisions of RSMo Sections 578.005 to 578.023 and 273.030; or

(2)

Purposely or intentionally causing injury or suffering to an animal.
