§ 12-7. Parking of commercial and recreational vehicles.

  • (a)

    No person shall park any truck, tractor, trailer, or any other commercial vehicles on any street for a period of more than 24 hours. Commercial vehicles licensed for less than 12,000 pounds gross weight shall be exempt from the provisions of this subsection.

    (b)

    No person shall park any recreational vehicle (i.e., boats, boat trailers, campers, trailers and similar vehicles used for recreational purposes) on any street for a period of more than 48 hours.

    (c)

    The time limit for parking under this section shall not apply during the time a vehicle is necessarily stopped for loading or unloading freight or while being used for ambulance or funeral purposes.
